1st the check engine light came on and pointed to camshaft sensor. Nissan has a recall to reprogram the CVT and still would not cover the cost to replace the CVT. Nissan Consumer Affairs would not cover the cost of the transmission failure even though they found the CVT fluid was burned which it is not suppose to burn. Took it to Nissan dealership and they said transmission needed to be replaced with 74,000 miles on it. I have a 2013 Nissan Altima S 2.5 L and I had three incidents pertaining to my transmission.
